Christmas Eve Services

Over 250 years ago, Moravians began handing out lighted beeswax candles to children on Christmas Eve as an object lesson for the Nativity. Today we at Trinity Moravian continue this warm and beloved tradition with a Christmas Candle Lovefeast open to all. During the singing of Christmas hymns, the congregation will share in a simple meal of a sweetened bun and coffee as a symbol of our love and fellowship. Then, as children lead in the singing of Morning Star, lit beeswax candles will be distributed to the congregation as a reminder that we must bear the light of Christ into the world.

You are welcome to come as you are and share in this wonderful Christmas tradition. There will be a service at 4:00 pm and another at 7:30 pm. The 4:00 pm service is very heavily attended, so it is best to arrive early to find a seat!

This year, for the first time, both services will be webcast live at www.sermon.net/tmc.
