Phillip Lamb is a Kenan Organ Scholar at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he studies with Dr. Erica Johnson, and previously with Dr. Jack E. Mitchener. He has participated in masterclasses with some of the world’s most distinguished artists, among them Olivier Latry and Dame Gillian Weir. In addition to organ, he studies Piano with Clifton Matthews. In 2007, he won the Cary-Apex Piano Teachers Association piano competition, earning additional scholarship for school. As a church musician, he has served churches in Winston-Salem, Cary, and Wilmington.
