After all, it&#8217;s not the exact elements that are important, it is the celebration of fellowship!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wxii12.com\/article\/trinity-moravian-church-to-go-virtual-for-lovefeast-service\/35048901\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>WXII Features Trinity Virtual Lovefeast<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/trinitymoravian.org\/content\/moravian-traditions\/moravian-lovefeast\/\">Learn more about the Lovefeast Tradition<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/trinitymoravian.org\/content\/moravian-traditions\/christmas-candles\/\">Learn more about the Beeswax Candles<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>RECIPES<\/h2>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/trinitymoravian.org\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/coffee-bun-ode.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1486 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/trinitymoravian.org\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/coffee-bun-ode.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"221\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<p><b><strong>Making Your Own Trinity Lovefeast Coffee<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Trinity Moravian Church Coffee makers have been using regular Maxwell House &#8220;Master Blend&#8221; coffee for many years.\u00a0 You can use whatever brand of coffee you like, but Starbucks will taste different.\u00a0 Probably most \u201cstandard\u201d supermarket coffees (Folgers, 8 O\u2019Clock, etc) will taste similar to the Maxwell House.\u00a0 We use half-and-half for the creamer.<\/p>\n<p>Most home coffee makers will make a pot with eight 8-oz cups.\u00a0\u00a0For each eight-cup pot, add 1\/3 cup of sugar and 2\/3 cup of half-and-half.<\/p>\n<p>If making by the cup, that\u2019s 2 tsp sugar and 4 tsp half-and-half per cup.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b><strong>Recipe for AUTHENTIC MORAVIAN LOVE FEAST BUNS\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>From Mrs. Lahoma Gray<\/p>\n<p>1 c. Melted Margarine<br \/>\n1-1\/2 c. Warm Water<br \/>\n1-1\/2 c. Honey or Sugar<br \/>\n4 T. Yeast &#8211; dissolved in \u00bd cup warm water<br \/>\n4 Eggs &#8211; beaten<br \/>\n4 T. Frozen Orange Concentrate<br \/>\n2 c. Flour<br \/>\n2 tsp. Salt<br \/>\n2 c. Hot Mashed Potatoes (potato flakes can be used)<br \/>\n2 T. Mace<\/p>\n<p>Cream together the margarine and honey or sugar. Add eggs and frozen orange concentrate. Gradually add mashed potatoes, warm water and yeast. Mix together the flour salt and mace. Make a well in flour mixture and pour in liquid ingredients. Gradually add more flour (approximately 5 more cups) to make a dough that can be turned out and kneaded. Knead until spongy and smooth &#8211; approximately l0 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Let rise until double in bulk. Make out into rolls and let rise again.<\/p>\n<p>Bake 350 for about 20 minutes.
