Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, our celebration of Christ’s triumphant into Jerusalem.
Sunday, April 13 – 11 am PALM SUNDAY SERVICE
Our 11 am service will feature the beloved Palm Sunday Liturgy, including the antiphonal singing of Christian Grogor’s Hosanna. The LOGOS Choir and the Chancel Choir will together sing Blessed Is He That Comes in the Name of the Lord by Lloyd Larson. At the end of the service, palms will be distirbuted so that we can join in waving them during the final hymn.
Sunday, April 13 – 7:00 pm PALM SUNDAY LOVEFEAST/READING SERVICE
At 7 pm, we will celebrate a lovefeast together in the sanctuary, featuring Palm Sunday hymns and anthems, followed by the first night of readings for Holy Week. The Holy Week Reading Services are held jointly with St Philips Moravian Church.
