Sunday, Dec 1 - FIRST SUNDAY IN ADVENT: We sing the beloved "Hosanna," as part of the Advent Liturgy.

Sunday, Dec 8 - SECOND SUNDAY IN ADVENT: The message will be on John the Baptist; new members will join the congregation.

Sunday, Dec 15 - THIRD SUNDAY IN ADVENT: The congregation will dedicate their pledges and promises for the coming year.

Sunday, Dec 22 - FOURTH SUNDAY IN ADVENT:  Christingle Sunday, and we will share in a simple "Lessons & Carols" service.

Sunday, Dec 15, 7:30 pm -- we invite community congregations and neighbors to join us for a special Sunnsyide Community Lovefeast.  Similar to our Christmas Eve services, we will share in a lovefeast and lit candles will be distributed to all worshipers.  We use more familiar Christmas hymns, including some written by Sunnyside and Washington Park residents!

Tuesday, Dec 24 - 4:00 pm Candle Lovefeast - The simple Lovefeast meal of bun & coffee is shared with the congregation and lit candles distributed to all worshipers.  This service is usually quite full, please arrive early to be sure to have a seat!

Tuesday, Dec 24 - 7:30 pm Candle Lovefeast - The simple Lovefeast meal of bun & coffee is shared with the congregation and lit candles distributed to all worshipers.  There are typically a number of seats available at this service.  We hope to provide interpretation for the deaf at this service.
